Using Older Dashes With xbGuard
Installing older Xbox 360 dashes via xbGuard
Installing xbGuard
- Starting off you need to install xbGuard
This does require you to have a paid version of xbGuard, as well be on the g15 beta build found in their Discord.
Downloading the Dash
Boot into BadAvatar.
Before exploiting make sure you are not connecting to the internet at all, no ethernet or wifi connected/enabled if using BadAvatar
- Or if RGH just boot into your console
- On the xbGuard dash press right stick + dpad down to open the menu
- Press RB and go to libraries then dashboards
- Select the dash you want and press A
- Wait for it to download
Loading the Dash
- If you dont want to always boot into the dash you can press right stick + dpad down to open the menu
- Press RB and go to device explorer
- Press Launch game / Load a module
- Navigate to your xbGuard install
- Go to downloads
- Dashboards
- Open your dashes dash.xex
Making the Dash Load on Boot
- If using BadAvatar insert your flash drive into your computer
- Open your launch.ini config
- Find Default = and add the path for the dash you donwloaded via xbGuard
- Should look along the lines of
Code block
Default = Hdd:\Apps\xbGuard\Dashboards\NXE\9199\dash.xex
- Yours may look different
If using an RGH console open Dashlaunch
And add the dash on your dafult path
Should be located along the lines of Hdd\Apps\xbGuard\Dashboards\NXE\9199\dash.xex
Then press RB and X on Hdd and reboot console
