Installing XeXmenu and XM360 on a BadAvatar console

If you used my guide for installing BadAvatar you already have these settings enabled and the app on your flashdrive and can go straight to how to use the app

  • Plug your flash drive into your computer and open your launch.ini configuration file.
  • Find the line xblapatch and set this to true

If using Aurora as your main dash you can skip downloading XeXmenu

  • Download XeXmenu
  • Insert your flash drive into your computer if you store your files on a flash drive
  • Download XM360 and create a folder on your flash drive or internal hard drive named Apps. Inside that folder, create another folder named XM360, then place the contents of the ZIP file into the XM360 folder.

Installing XexMenu and XM360 on a RGH Console

  • If you are using an RGH console, open Dashlaunch, find xblapatch, enable it, then press RB and X on HDD to save.
  • Download XM360 and create a folder on your flash drive or internal hard drive named Apps. Inside that folder, create another folder named XM360, then place the contents of the ZIP file into the XM360 folder.

If using Aurora as your main dash you can skip downloading XeXmenu

  • Then follow the XeXMenu tutorial to install XeXmenu

Using XM360

Before exploiting make sure you are not connecting to the internet at all, no ethernet or wifi connected/enabled if using BadAvatar

  • Boot your console
  • If on Aurora press select and press file manager, and open the XM360 xex inside the XM360 folder
  • Go to my games and apps if your on the MSdash and open XeXmenu and open the XM360 xex inside the XM360 folder
  • Press RB to switch drives and go to your flash drive and navigate to where your XM360 files are and open XM360.xex
  • In XM360 press RB to cycle through games and find the XBLA title you want to unlock
  • Once found, the right side should show the game. The lock will either be unlocked or locked. If it is unlocked, the game is ready to go. If not, press Unlock on the left side to mark the game as purchased.
